Not receiving invitation or recovery email

Hi,

I have recently rejoined the company and my Atlassian account was deactivated but not deleted I believe.

I could log in with no issue on Jira/Confluence but on Bitbucket, I am missing the 2FA - and I am not getting any recovery e-mails.

Moreover, the Admin sent me an invite to join the private space, but those are not arriving either.

Could I please get some suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi Monica,

Your email address was in one of our suppression lists. This occurs when we attempt to send an email to an email address and receive a hard bounce response from the mail server, indicating that the email address doesn't exist or that there is some other permanent failure.

I went ahead and removed your email address from the suppression list.

Could you please request another 2FA recovery email now, and also ask your admin to send you a new invitation? (This is necessary as the previous ones got dropped)

Hi Theodora,

 

Thank you for your quick reply. I just requested the two (recovery & invite) now. I see that it takes 24h for me to get the one-time login. is there any way I can skip that? perhaps with the help of the Admin of the space?

Hi Monica,

Apologies for the late reply, I just saw your message. I'm afraid there is no way for admins to expedite the process, the support team has the ability to do that but we do so only in exceptional cases.

I can see in our logs that a 2FA recovery email was sent to your email address yesterday. Please feel free to let me know if you have received that and if you can access your Bitbucket Cloud account now. Otherwise, I can check if we can expedite the process.
