Not receiving Bitbucket invitation email on Outlook

I am not receiving Bitbucket invitation emails on my Outlook account.

My colleague has sent multiple invitations to my email address, but I have not received any email (including in spam/junk folders). I have already checked with my IT support team, and they confirmed that there is no issue on the email server or any blocking from their end.

This issue is preventing me from accessing the Bitbucket workspace and collaborating with my team.

Could you please check if there are any delivery issues or restrictions from Atlassian's side? Also, let me know if there is any alternative way to accept the invitation or get access to the workspace.

Hi @Abhishek Garg ,

this is a very common issue. Please ask to bitbucket admin to review the status of invitation :

 

  • Workspace settings → User directory
  • Check the user status:
    • Invited → invitation was sent
    • Pending → invite still valid
  • Click Resend invitation

It is possible that microsoft defender is blocking your invitation email. Please ask to an admin to review emails in qurantine (Microsoft 365 Defender → Email & collaboration → Review → Quarantine)

In the meantime, as workaround, ask to bitbucket admin to copy the invitation link and send it through chat/teams.
