Newbie question: New File button

Hi,

I can't see the New File button that is referred to in the tutorials.  Is this a permissions thing or am I looking in the wrong place?  From the tutorials it seems like it should be at the right side of the screen where the Browse and Filter buttons are?  The version I am using is 6.2.0

Hi Graham,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Not sure what tutorial you are looking at, but my guess is that you are looking at one that is for Bitbucket Cloud. Bitbucket Server does not have a New File button unless you are using Power editor for Bitbucket
