New pull request "file tree" sort order

Hi folks

Has anyone else noticed the file tree sorting is broken in the new pull request layout?

In the main diff there's a list of files, and at the top is a drop-down which allows you to pick sort by "File tree" or by "Recent comments". By default it is set to File Tree.

On the right hand tabs (details, files, activity) if you select files, you get a file tree of all the files in the diff. 

I would expect the two things to be in the same sort order - but the "file tree" order in the main diff is not the same as the order in the actual file tree under the Files tab. As you scroll down, you can see the highlight jumps around randomly.

Why aren't the two file trees both in the same order? I *think* it's a depth-first file tree on the left, then a purely alphabetical sort on the right.
