I've been using SourceTree with my BitBucket repository for over a year. Suddenly, last
week I started getting this popup which I've never seen before.
I
I enter my user name and password and get this
I click Authorize. It then opens up a page in my webbrowser asking me to grant access. When my default browser was Firefox, I was stuck there. I changed my default browser to Chrome, and now I can click Grant Access and get a page that says "Authentication Successful" and then whatever I was trying to do in SourceTree fails. Note that I can get to the "Authentication Successful" page even if I enter complete garbage for username and password. The same thing happens if I use Tortoise Git or just Git from the command line, but after that login fails, they then ask me for my password again without the Atlassian dialog and they seem to work. but I have to go through this entire process of two dialogs and two webpages and then give my password again when previously they all just remembered my password. I'd really like to use SourceTree but it doesn't work at all.
