I've returned after a long time away. Now after logging in, nothing is showing under 'All Workspaces'. It wants me to create a new workspace. If I try this using my previous account workspace name, it tells me this is already taken, though browsing to it returns 'resource not found'.
I've confirmed that I only have ever had a single login to Bitbucket. My local repo returns the expected remote url info, but that seems gone on Bitbucket side.
Please help! How can I restore and gain access to my projects?
Hi @henyo
Welcome to the community.
It appears this issue may be related to the recent deactivation of inactive Bitbucket workspaces. If there has been no activity in your workspace for some time, it may have been automatically deactivated as part of our platform cleanup.
You can check for and reactivate a deactivated workspace by following these steps:
For more detailed information on this process and the timelines involved, please refer to this community article:
I hope this helps

No, no deactivated workspaces show up.
From the link you gave: 'After May 15, 2026, workspaces that remain deactivated will be permanently deleted, along with their content.'
So Atlassian has deleted all of my projects, gone forever???

Hey @henyo
Please re-verify the status, as the issue should now be resolved. Regarding the workspace and content deletion, these are currently in a 'soft delete' state to allow for recovery. While there is no specific ETA for permanent deletion at this time, I recommend monitoring the community post for further updates
Let me know how it goes.
