Migration of code files from Merant to Bitbucket

I want to transfer all files from Merant to bitbucket with version history based on Promotion groups in Merant. 

How can I do that ?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

I did a search and from what I found there is no tool that can help you with migrating PVCS/Merant to Git, the only option I found was to first migrate to SVN and then to Git, based on this Stack overflow question, https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52049289/is-there-any-document-for-migrating-code-from-pvcs-to-github-with-history

Bitbucket Cloud have functionality to import existing repositories from CodePlex, Git, Mercurial, and SourceForge. If you are using Bitbucket Server you can only import Git repositories.
