Migrated from Github to Bitbucket...

Nitai

Hi there,

Migrated one of my projects to Bitbucket and like it so far. Though, the "issues" could use some major enhancements (I do use Jira, but for this project I want to use the Bitbucket issue system).

The most needed enhancement would really be to be apply to sort by Milestore and or save the advanced search as a filter. It really would if in general the issue system would get an overhaul. As it is now, we have to do too much clicking to see issues.

Maybe I missed it, but is something like this in the works? Thanks.

Thank you for your answer. I'm using Jira and Confluence for all my project on a daily basis for the last 7 years.

But if Bitbucket wants to be a serious alternative to Github, then it really needs to put at least a couple of efforts into the Issue system. There is no harm in providing a better filter or some other small features to Bitbucket.

In Atlassian portfolio the "overhauled" issue tracking system is JIRA so I doubt they will never-ever add much more functionality to Bitbucket issues. You see Atlassian's business is to sell software for software developers ... They have to be able to compete with Github though.
