Login issues with Bitbucket

Hi,  after 2 years without any problems I'm suddenly having issues logging in to my bitbucket account from the web or using git commands in a terminal. 

I can reset the password and get in, but if i log out and try to log in again i must log on twice, once to bitbucket then it redirects me to atlassian where i need to log in again, before being redirected back to bitbucket.

I'm trying to log in from another (remote) machine so i can pull my code , it won't let me log on with error 'email or password are incorrect'  .  I've just reset them so they are correct. They work on 1 machine (all be it with the 2 step log on) and not at all on the other. 

What changed?  This is unworkable now and I don't believe I changed anything.

Hi Michael! Regarding the web interface, can you try using the incognito mode and log in to your Bitbucket Cloud account? Does it work? You said you can reset the password and log in, but then you're redirected somewhere else. Where does it redirect you? Can you send us screenshots or a recording?

Regarding the terminal, it might still be using the old credentials, as you said you changed your password. Have you updated your credentials?

In relation to the remote machines, have you also updated the credentials there? How are you trying to log in to Bitbucket from those?
