Limit crowd user for stash

Marco Sabato
August 26, 2014

Hello,

is it possible to configure which crowd users/groups should be imported into stash?

Actually i'm using crowd to authentificate my users via Active Directory for JIRA.

For stash I have created a own group in crowd.

I only want to import the users which belong to this group into stash.

Thanky for every hint.

Marco

This isn't that easy to do; all users available to the stash application you've set up in Crowd will be sync'd to Stash from Crowd.

The only real workaround is to define a separate directory in Crowd for the Stash application and configure that directory to sync a different set of users from Active Directory (using the filters in the directory configuration in Crowd).
