I cannot for the life of me get Bitbucket and Jira to integrate. I suspect the issue is because I'm trying to link Jira to a Bitbucket Team, not an individual. I know this, because integration "works" when I use my personal account. But, that's pretty much useless considering it's a team repository for a team project. Any attempts to choose the "Team" when doing the DVCS account link prompts an error with no message other then "Hmm... that didn't seem to work".
Also, attempting to add Jira from the Bitbucket Marketplace Apps for the Team fails as well with an unknown strange error.
Any advice on this? This is for a team setup so I would like to avoid having to make everything owned by one person instead of the team.
Both Jira and Bitbucket are cloud versions.
Hi Chris, welcome to the Community!
Can you confirm that you're an admin for that Bitbucket team? Keep in mind you need to be an admin in both Bitbucket and Jira for the integration to work.
Also, could you clear cache and cookies in your browser before trying again, to make sure there are no traces of your individual Bitbucket account that might be interfering? If you're still having issues, please send us a screenshot and we'll continue helping you.
Best regards,
Ana
Thanks for the reply. Just tried logging in via Chrome Incognito and setting first from Jira under DVCS settings. And then tried from Bitbucket by using marketplace and adding Jira.
I am the creator of the entire account, but not the billing contact. So I am administrator for all Atlassian accounts.
