Is there any way to adjust which events I get emailed for with regards to pull requests?

Right now I get an email whenever a coworker approves another coworker's PR that I'm a reviewer on, and I really don't need emails for that. Short of writing a gmail filter specifically to match that email, is there any way to disable that or other tweak my notification settings? I haven't been able to find such an option anywhere in the UI.

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Bitbucket only allows you to change if the email should be immediate or batched for pull requests, and you can find that setting under Manage account > Notification settings. By default the batched email is sent 30 minutes after the last activity, and the inactivity period can be changed to a different value. You can find more information about it here, Notifications
