Is there a way using BitBucket to automatically update the issues' status from "new" to "open" after a while?

There are several issues in my repositories, which are still indicated with status "new". I would like to be able to tell the Issue Tracker to automatically update the issues' status to "open" after a few weeks. Is it possible?

I'm afraid that is not possible. It shouldn't be too much work to write a cron script that does this for you through the API, but I realize that might be more work than you're looking for.
