Is there a way to see a simplified history graph that shows the branch structure without showing all the intermediate commits?
Say I have a project with a complicated branch structure:
There's too much clutter here for me to ever see the full branch structure. I quickly lose track of which branch came from which other branch.
I don't care about a detailed history, I just want to see something like this:
Is such a thing possible?
I completely agree with you.
It will be great to be able to collapse side branches, and to expand them when more detailed inspection is necessary. After all, why develop a feature in a side branch and keep it there instead of rebasing and fast forward merging it to the main branch?
Hi
I'm afraid the current answer is no, although it does look like an interesting idea. You can create feature requests at https://jira.atlassian.com
