Is there a way to retrieve/expose the user that trigger bitbucket pipeline manually?

Either through Bitbucket API or bitbucket pipeline variables?

We have a scenario during pipeline deployment process where the user who commits the build and user deploys the build is different. (Different task delegations).

We want to record the user who presses the deployment button on bitbucket pipeline for a particular build.

Hello William,

We've just released a variable that exposes the UUID of the user that triggered a specific step. The variable is called: BITBUCKET_STEP_TRIGGERER_UUID

We haven't documented it yet, as we've only just added it. But, it's ready for use!

Thanks,

Phil

What is one supposed to do with this UUID? How do we turn it into a humanly-readable name or something to that extent? Thanks.
