Is there a way to disable or change Merge Conflict resolution steps shown by Bitbucket?

The standard merge conflict resolution instructions are incorrect for our workflow, and in fact cause problems for developers who blindly follow them. Is there any way to disable or change the content of these instructions? Via Scriptrunner hooks maybe?
