Is it possible to delete a branch using the Cloud REST APIs?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: repository Resource 1.0

I manage to list the branches using: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/repository-resource-1-0-296095202.html#repositoryResource1.0-GETlistofbranches

But is it possible to delete a branch using the API? How?

Hi Alexander,

Unfortunately, the refs API is read-only for now. We haven't gotten around to adding write functionality into the refs API. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that has caused.
