Hello,
I am trying to invite a new email address to our Bitbucket workspace. The invitation appears as pending in the workspace administration panel, but the user does not receive the invitation email.
I have already checked the spam/junk folder and there is no message there. I also tried sending the invitation again, but the result is the same.
If I repeat the same procedure with a different email address, the invitation email is received correctly. Therefore, the issue seems to be related specifically to this particular email address.
Could you please verify whether the invitation email is being blocked or if there is any issue preventing delivery?
Thank you for your support.
Best regards.
I have checked the affected user's email address and can see that the user has disabled product notifications (which includes invitations) - hence why they've not been able to receive these.
To resolve this:
Please let me know how this goes.
Cheers!

Hi Ben,
thank you for your suggestion.
I enabled the “Product invitations” option in Atlassian account’s email preference center, and the issue is now resolved.
Thank you for support.

Hi,
If the invite is pending in the workspace but only one specific email address is not receiving it, that usually points to a mailbox-side delivery issue rather than a Bitbucket-wide problem. It would be worth checking whether that address was previously invited, already linked to another Atlassian account state, or is being filtered or blocked by the recipient mail system. As a practical workaround, ask the user to try signing in directly with that email through Atlassian, because in some cases the invitation can still be accepted even if the email was not received.
