Hey, welcome to the Community and sorry to hear you're having trouble with your yubikey!

We do have some requirements for having 2FA enabled. I'm wondering if maybe something changed on your account? The full details of the 2FA requirements are documented here. The items I'm wondering about are:

  1. SSH keys - did you recently remove SSH keys from your account (or can you confirm that there still is at least one listed on https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/ssh-keys/)
  2. Confirmed email address - this would have been completed in the past and you shouldn't be able to change your Atlassian account to an un-verified email address, but you can check what email address your account is currently configured at https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/email if there is some ambiguity.
  3. Configured authenticator app like Duo Mobile or Authy - this is a prerequisite to getting a hardware token enrolled. I haven't tested removing an authenticator app from my Bitbucket account but would hazard a guess that this might prevent you from configuring (or potentially using) a hardware token. Have there been changes recently on your phone like removing your authenticator app or getting a new phone outright?

Finally, if you can provide a screenshot of any error you see trying to configure your yubikey at https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/two-step-verification/manage - that might help us hone in on the issue.

Thanks!
