How to search string "AAA::BBB" in code search feature?

I often search for "AAA::BBB" function name in C++ code. But colon sign is removed in BitBucket Search. How can I do this?

Hi Ying,

Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately this is not possible at this stage. All punctuation characters are removed from search. Since Bitbucket Server 5.7, the period "." and underscore "_" do work.

There is an open suggestion BSERV-8782 for the inclusion of punctuation in search. Please vote for this issue and/or add a comment there, to express your interest.
