How to reset account password if using Microsoft email account?

It looks like I cannot reset any account password when my email is a Microsoft email account.

I cannot clone repo to my local computer due to failed password..

Hello @HL and welcome to the Community!

If when you created your account you select the Continue with Microsoft option, you’ll need to set up a password before you can use your email address and password as a login method.

To create a password for your Atlassian account:

1. Go to id.atlassian.com/login.

2. Select Can't log in? at the bottom of the page.

3. Enter your email address and select Send recovery link.

4. Select the recovery link in the email we send you and set a password for your account.

It's important to note that this password is only used to login in the website.

For authenticating git operation over HTTPs and Bitbucket Cloud API, you should use an app password instead.

If you haven't already, you can create a new app password. Then, you can use the app password along with your bitbucket username (found in your Bitbucket personal settings) as the credentials for the authentication.
