How to log in with old user id (not email)

I have an older bitbucket account that uses an alias user id (not email). How can I migrate it to my other account that does use an email to log in?

Because I can not merge the accounts, the problem is, I have an account with user id 'steelydev' which the login screen will not accept.

Does anyone know a work-around for logging in such an account?
