If you're on Bitbucket Server (or Bitbucket Data Center) here's how you find the git version Bitbucket is currently using:

1.)  Navigate to "Settings" --> "Troubleshooting and Support Tools" in the Bitbucket Web UI.  It's near the bottom at the very far-left on the global settings screen.

2.) Click on the "System Information" tab.

3.) Scroll down to the "Git" section on that page.  Here's what it says for me right now:

Git

Path /usr/bin/git

Version 2.17.1

Note:  you need to have admin privileges to see the "Troubleshooting and Support Tools" page.
