How to enable download as tar.gz with [addon-com.atlassian.stash.plugin.stash-archive] ?

From what I can see the Download link provided by https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.stash.plugin.stash-archiveonly gives a .zip. How can I configure this plugin for tar.gz as well per its description?

Hi Chris,

Adding the query parameter format=tar.gz to the URL will create a tar.gz for you. There are some other options documented in the README.

cheers,

Tim

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the nudge, I've fixed the documentation URL as you suggested. I like the idea of being able to customize the button's behaviour, would you mind raising an issue in the add-on's issue tracker: https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/stash-archive/issues

Also, would you mind marking my original answer as accepted if you're happy with it?

cheers,

Tim

Thanks Tim. I missed this because on https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.stash.plugin.stash-archiveunder the Support tab, Documentation link, it links to http://confluence.atlassian.com/which must be incorrect. It would be great if this could be updated to point to https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/stash-archive#markdown-header-rest-api.

Additionally, it would be fantastic if the plugin could provide a button to download the tarball so a URL does not need to be constructed manually (I guess contrib is of consideration here).
