Hi,
Now that Identity Manager is in GA, how can I enable SAML integration for BitBucket? I didn't see the option in the account settings in my Bitbucket account. Also, 2-step verification, which was listed as part of Identity Manager as well, is still listed as a premium feature in the UI.
Does that mean that SAML is a premium feature as well? Or am I missing something?
Thanks,
Ilya
Hi Ilya! If you have Jira or Confluence Cloud you'll be able to enable SAML via Atlassian Access (previously called Identity Manager).
Regarding 2-step verification, it's important to make a distinction: the ability to enforce 2-step verification is there, but not the 2-step verification itself. Any user with an Atlassian Account can enable 2fa for their own account, but if you want to enforce all your managed users to enable 2fa then you need to do that through Atlassian Access.
Also, it's not recommended to have SAML and 2-step verification at the same time:
We recommend that you don’t enforce two-step verification if your users log in through Google or with SAML single sign-on.
For a further explanation, you can read Enforced two-step verification.
If you'd like, you can try it for free at https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/cloud/access
Let us know if you have any questions!
Kind regards,
Ana
Hi Ana,
Thanks for the response.
We've already enabled SAML for Jira, what I don't fully understand is how we can enforce users in Bitbucket to not login with a user/pass but rather be redirected to our SSO provider (OneLogin) same as happens in Jira (we have a button "Login with SSO").
