How should I be determining the size to make an external database for Stash?

The size of Stash's database depends in large part on the number of repositories and the number of commits in those repositories.

A very rough guideline would be: 100MB + ((total number of commits across repos) / 2500) MB.

So, say you've got 20 repositories with an average of 25,000 commits you'd need 100Mb + (20 * 25,000 / 2500) MB = 300MB.

Can you please let me know whether Stash is dependent on HDD or SSD type of harddisk drive?
