There are a number of prompts that show up in Bitbucket server and really I only need to see them once.

An example is when I view "Branches" - I am reminded that I should "select a different branch to compare how many commits ahead or behind specific branches are relative to the base branch."

Is there anyway to turn them off?

Go into "Manage Add Ons," set the filter to "System", look for "Atlassian Chaperone" and expand its modules.  Disable the "chaperone-rest-resource" module.

(Don't disable "Atlassian Chaperone" completely, and don't disable any other modules under "Atlassian Chaperone."  It makes all the tabs on pull-requests go blank!).
