How do I migrate from TortoiseGIT folder to SourceTree?

I have a folder where I am using TortoiseGIT to manage my GIT files. Now I want SourceTree to manage this folder. When I point SourceTree at this folder, I am getting an error message as 'Destionation Directory Not Empty'.

Should I necessarily clone this to another folder? The repo is running to several mega bytes and I do not think it is a viable option for me to maintain separate copy just for the sake of the application.
