How do I configure bitbucket server so that all commits and pushes affect a remote git repository

We have an in house git repository hosted on a remote machine by another team.

My team want to use Bitbucket server to interact with that repository so that we can use the pull request and review features of BitBucket.

Access to the remote git repository is done using ssh authentication.

How do we configure Bitbucket to what we want?
