How could I know the commit hash left in the repository after a pull request?

I am trying to create a deployment control system, the question is that I would like to know how I could know the has commit post merge in the pr obviously before performing e, if possible

Hi @camm852

If I understood you correctly, you want to know the hash of the merge commit before merging. This is not possible, because the timestamp of the merge is part of the hash.

A similar question was asked before here with a more detailed answer.
