How can we migrate issues from Bitbucket to JIRA cloud?

We decided to start handling our bugs and issue tracking in JIRA cloud. How can we migrate existing Bitbucket issues to JIRA cloud?

Hi @[deleted] , 

You can import the Bitbucket issues using the JSON imported. Please follow the instructions given in this Atlassian KB article

Note - that you won't be able to import the issues into an existing project, you'll need to create a new one.

Thanks Kiran for your reply.

I'm familiar with this article, however, when I tried importing, following these instructions, the import failed with no error log or helpful error messages.

Even with the simplest example such as the first sample on this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-json-776636779.html the import fails and the error messages aren't very helpful.

Could you please post a JSON of a small project that successfully imports into JIRA?
