How can I delete my repositories that show a lock?

I have created repositiories; they are empty.

They display (when logged in through a web rowser) with a padlock, and I am unable to delete them.

How do I delete these repos, or 'unlock' them?

Thanks

Hello @pawingard,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!

I assume you mean a little lock badge on the repository icon as well as a lock icon in the rightmost column of the repo list table. That lock denotes that the repository is private. This means that only users you explicitly allowed to view or modify it will be able to do that while anyone else won't be able to access that repository in any way.

If you make a repository public, anyone will be able to view it but only users you explicitly allowed will be able to modify it.

As for deleting a repository, this is done at the Repository details tab of repository settings, check out this guide.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Daniil

Daniil,

Thanks for your comments. My problem is the result of an apparent distinction between my Atlassian account, which also provides access to Bitbucket.com and my Bitbucket.com account. I have been under the impression that the accounts were either merged or one and the same.

I resolved my problem (I was unable to delete my repos, because they were created by the other account) by logging in to the other account and then deleting the repos.

Regards,

Phil
