How can I add more than 2 users to a private repository? ($0 account)

I am not sure if my issue is the fruit of a misunderstanding of the users policy for a free bitbucket account: I have this private repository with two users (me and a colleague) and  when I try to add a third one the interface says this...

You’ll need to upgrade your plan before adding more users. Upgrade now

I have other private repositories with 5 users and this issue never occurred till now... What am I doing wrong?

Hi Stefano! The user limitation is not per repo, but per account. If you already have 5 Bitbucket users with access to any of the contents in your account, then you won't be able to add any other users until you upgrade your plan or revoke the access from one of the previous users.
