How and Who from BitBucket Support I can contact to ask for admin email in my workspace

Hello and good day everyone.

I have question about How and Who I can contact BitBucket Support directly to their Customer Support about my admin workspace email.

I have a problem getting the email of the workspace owner/admin because the creator of the repo (which is ironically, the owner/admin) forgot which email he have used since he is handling multiple emails.

I have tried to google about this problem and all of the 'solutions' given are from the community itself and NONE FROM BITBUCKET SUPPORT (Yes I have to highlight that myself for others). Even the suggestion(s) from the 'question' field or this QnA is NOT HELPING and not addressing my problem.

I tried to use the 'BitBucket Support' which in hope I can at least create a ticket about this issue, but unfortunately it redirects to this 'community forum' which already didn't help me at all, as per knowledge I got from my previous paragraph.

So can I get any help from this community, preferably from the BitBucket Support themselves, to give answer regarding my problem, not any 'senior of the community' giving answer for this question.

Let me make it short as follows:
How and Who (Yes, BOTH) from BitBucket Support I can contact to know the admin's IN my workspace repo email.

Thank you for any help from the community that can help me regarding this issue.

Hey @Muhammad Yusoff Jamaluddin

Welcome to the community.

Please raise a ticket here and select the account option. Let us know the workspace name so we can search for the workspace/account.

Syahrul

Sir, can you please read my question CAREFULLY before answering my question? Did you use some AI to extract the context from my question?

Edit: I am not sure how long you have been a 'support', can you also provide in your SOP to 'support' on what, which and how to do at the page you have given?

Let's make this easy, can you give me a link to propose how you should have your SOP when answering questions?

@Muhammad Yusoff Jamaluddin - have you tried their instructions? 🙏🏻

I checked, and the form is for billing support, and you should be able to complete this form. The team who reaches out to you afterwards should then be able to get you sorted.

Thank you sir for your reply. I am very sure there's no 'instructions' on what to do on the given answer by @Syahrul and also from the provided page/link.

Sir @Dave LIAO, thank you so much for your help, I am very appreciated and proud having you here. But for a moment can I have a very helpful and clear instructions from Atlassian team themselves. From their answer I guess others can evaluate them.

@Muhammad Yusoff Jamaluddin - since you've posted this, have you been able to contact Atlassian Support?

  • If not, I will escalate this thread directly to them.
  • If so, great!

No, it's always redirect to here Bit bucket Cloud Support.

I even tried to Google for the same question and the answer (I am paraphrasing here):

  1. No you can't. You must have the access directly as admin to have the others email and not as invited to the repo for the settings for admins to remove/revoke other users.
  2. I have to check the Git Log and ask my company the user for the repo first commit. Luckily my company have this user's log and they can track the username and email of the BitBucket admin.

And tbh, I tried multiple keyword to get Atlassian/BitBucket support ticket and this is the first link I got, which I think you must escalate to them (This question from 2021 with no answer from Atlassian/BitBucket addressing his problem):
Problem with my workspace and user with admin rights.

Thank you so much for your help sir, I hope they can address this problem to other users and maybe myself in the future too.

Can I also know how I can contact them and make the ticket myself?

@Muhammad Yusoff Jamaluddin - oh, I thought you attempted to do this. To do this yourself:

  1. Go to https://support.atlassian.com/
  2. Then click Sign In in the upper-right corner if you're not yet logged in.
  3. After you're logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Contact Support.

FYI If you're on a Free Bitbucket plan, you can't actually do this. If you're on Standard or higher, then you'll be able to do this.

Thank you for the clarification.

I did try the Contact Support but I am on Free Plan. Since I am on Free Plan my account does not have that luxury per se.

So I have to depend on the community answers and like your answer, I can't actually did that.

I hope Atlassian/Bitbucket Support have another way to help the Free Plan users although I know we are not on their priority list.

Also, even from their Enterprise level user having the same problem asking the same type of question I have.

Free Plan users currently only have Community support by design, like you've noticed.

Now that I've escalated this thread to Atlassian (25 minutes ago), they should be in touch with you eventually. Just standby and they'll reach out to you.

Good luck!
