Hello,
We are experiencing an issue with a newly invited user in Bitbucket Cloud.
Context:
I am both the Atlassian Organization admin and the Bitbucket workspace admin.
I created a new Bitbucket workspace.
I invited a user via email and assigned them to the appropriate group that grants access to the workspace.
In Atlassian Admin (admin.atlassian.com), the user correctly appears as a member of the group.
The user has Bitbucket product access enabled.
Main issue / Symptom:
When the user accepts the invitation and clicks on the link from the email, they are redirected to a Bitbucket page displaying:
“Resource not found” (with a large exclamation mark icon).
They are therefore unable to access the workspace.
Additional observation:
When checking the group inside Bitbucket (Bitbucket.org → Workspace settings → User groups), the same group shows a different number of members compared to Atlassian Admin. The newly added user does not appear in the group within the Bitbucket interface.
This suggests a possible synchronization issue between Atlassian Organization group management and Bitbucket workspace membership.
Could you please confirm:
Whether this is a known synchronization delay or bug?
If any manual action is required to force synchronization?
Or if this indicates a configuration issue on our side?
Thank you for your assistance.
Hey @Rachid Mokhtari
Welcome to the community!
You are correct. There was a sync issue on our end, which has since been resolved. This issue caused users who recently gained access to the workspace to be unable to access it. Can you please ask the user to verify if they still can't access the workspace?
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Syahrul
