Unable to name a new workspace with same name as old workspace which is now deleted. Error: Workspace with this Slug already exists.

Hi Ayush,

As per our documentation, deletion of a workspace takes 30 days to fully delete in the backend, this means that until the deletion period is complete - the workspaceID of the deleted workspace is still in use until the full deletion occurs:

After you delete your account, personal data will be also deleted from all Atlassian services accessed by your account within 30 days, unless we're required to keep it for legitimate business or legal purposes.

I can see you have deleted a few workspaces between 1-3 days ago, you will be able to rename your new workspaceID to the old one after 27-29 days have passed:
