Enable SAML - Is it worth creating another organization under a new account to test?

Hi all,

We currently have an organization set up that has the domain verified. We'd like to turn on SAML and utilize Atlassian access jira, confluence, and bitbucket.

Before we turn it on, we'd like to create a test Organization to make sure there aren't major disruptions when we do it to our main organization. Is it worth creating another organization for this? Or is it enough to see that if a user managed underneath our organization and lists the specific products, that when we turn on SAML. All their SSH keys for bitbucket will remain the same, and login for any user under our verified domain will go through our single-on.

Part of the confusion I think comes from us previously manually creating accounts on both the atlassian, and the bitbucket account sides. And now when we want to turn on SAML, we're hoping that because we've verified the domain that atlassian won't break any existing workflows, or keys if we do it live, thus needing to test on a test organization first.

Thanks
