Hi,
I had an old Bitbucket-only account. I was able to see my workspace some time (about couple of months) back. But now I cannot see any workspaces at all, my repositories and pipelines are missing.
I did get an email about needing to reactivate my workspace but the list is empty an thus I cannot reactivate. Due date is not past for that (May 15, 2026).
Can it be that my old Bitbucket identity was not merged into my current Atlassian account? If so, could someone from Atlassian help restore or merge the old identity into my current account?
Thanks!
-Marko
Hello @Marko Miettinen
This usually means you are in the wrong Atlassian account, not that the merge failed.
When the reactivation list is empty, Bitbucket normally is not seeing the account that actually belongs to that workspace. So check whether you are signed in with the same email/account that had access to it before.
Try your older email addresses as well and check All workspaces under each one. If the workspace does not show up anywhere, this is probably one for Atlassian Support, because they are the only ones who can verify that on the backend.
Thanks for your response! I have not changed my email at any point, so that was the only account to check. Also, the account that I logged into, shows my username to be the one I've always had.
So it seems Atlassian Support is needed?

Poke Atlassian and look what they can do for you. Alternative probably somebody will Flag this post for them.
You can try to reach out to Atlassian Support with a no-login option.
If you can’t access your account to open a ticket, use this no‑login path:

With steps above I was able to reach support, they asked in future to report issues under "Technical Issues and Bugs", though.
However, I was given instruction to navigate directly to deactivated workspaces: https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces/deactivated
There I was able to see my workspace, which indeed had been deactivated. But I could not see that from my account and the direct link worked. There, I was able to reactivate the workspace and all is good now.

Good to hear that.😊

A fix for this issue should now be in place.
Can you please check your list of workspaces, and also ask the workspace admin to do so as well? There should be an option to re-activate the workspace:
If this still doesn't show, please let me know your timezone so I can open a support ticket on your behalf with the team who works during your working hours.
Cheers!

Hi - thanks for your response.
I was in contact with support, and according to their instructions, direct link to deactivated workspace list showed my workspace and I was able to activate it.
Link is: https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces/deactivated
So all ok from my point of view now.
Thanks again!
