Does Bitbucket use my code to Build Models like Github did with ChatGpt?

Github has been involved in aggregating massive amounts of data for use in ChatGpt.

While this is theoretically data open for anyone to use the original code used in training has GNU licensing in most cases.

Effectively companies like ChatGpt is using our work product and selling it. Wired puts this well in their article on the topic.

Does Atlassian do this differently? Or do Devs need to be looking at hosting our own code again?

No, Bitbucket serves it up in the UI when you ask to see it. It's just a viewer.

Why would it need to be? The marketing and documentation all make it perfectly clear what Bitbucket does.
