Does Bit Bucket repack imported repositories?

Hi,

I have a repository which I have converted from svn with 'svn2git'. If I try and repack this repo, after converting it with :

git repack -a -f -d

it says :

Nothing new to pack

Then if I import the repository using the Bit Bucket web gui, and then locate the repo on disk in Bit Bucket. If I then do 'git repack' and 'git gc', it repacks the whole repository.

This has a significant affect on the performance of the web gui, and it shaves over 1GB from the repo size.
