We only have the Bitbucket Cloud product, and I would like to have an MCP server. Some third party offer python server that run and call the API but I would like to use the ROVO MCP server. Is is possible to use it if we are only a customer of Bitbucket Cloud. I try and I was not able and from the requirement bellow I do not have Jira, Compass and Confluence.
An Atlassian Cloud site with Jira, Compass, and/or Confluence
Access to the client of choice
A modern browser to complete the authorization flow, if using OAuth 2.1
An API token, if your admin has enabled authentication via API tokens
Hello and welcome to Community @Frédéric Ruel
Yes, Bitbucket Cloud supports the Rovo MCP Server, but it strictly requires API token authentication because OAuth isn't supported for it yet.
To get it working, ensure your Bitbucket workspace is linked to an Atlassian organization, and have an organization admin enable API token authentication under Atlassian Administration > Security > Rovo MCP server.
Once enabled, configure your MCP client using a scoped Atlassian API token. If everything is linked and enabled but the tools still don't show up, reach out to Atlassian Support, as the public documentation is still catching up to these dependencies.
Best,
Arkadiusz🤠
