Do I need bitbucket premium to enable "prevent a merge with unresolved merge checks" to enforce "check for at least x approvals?

This is a premium feature, so you need Bitbucket premium to enable "prevent a merge with unresolved merge checks".

Just figured out that this indeed is prohibited unless you buy premium. May I speak my mind, and say that the feels really horrible. How can I company like Atlassian decide something like this?

This really feels like cheating money out of your customers. This is not a premium feature, this is the most basic thing anyone will require who is using CI/CD.

You might as well make the diff view a premium feature then.

What else can be the point in offering rules for merge, but not make them effective unless you pay more.
