Creating repository from multiple code bases(sources)

Dear community members,

I am a newbie trying to understand how I can create a bitbucket repository (remote) that can be used by multiple unix servers (i.e. local with unique code base each). I intend to use GIT for version control (and push changes to remote i.e. bitbucket repository) on local for the changes made by local superusers.

Any help, pointers (to relevant documentation etc.) are most appreciated.
