I'm on https://bitbucket.org/MyOrganisation/workspace/create/repository
It is asking me for "Default branch name", I enter `master`.
When the new repository is created, I see the "Let's put some bits in your bucket" page suggesting `git push -u origin main` under "Get your local Git repository on Bitbucket".
What's the point of asking me for my preferred branch name if it's going to use `main` anyway? Shouldn't it follow what I input?
Hi @mehov,
I am not able to reproduce the issue you are reporting. I have tried creating empty repos in several different workspaces, using different accounts, and the git push command in the "Let's put some bits in your bucket" page always shows the name of the branch I enter as a default one.
I would like to ask for some additional information to better understand the issue and help you:
Kind regards,
Theodora
