Create Jira -> Create Branch through API

Hello,

We're trying to integrate a request system where if a new request gets approve it populates a Jira ticket and also creates a branch attached to the ticket (as in how you manually can click create a branch in a jira ticket).

Is there an api call that can kind of chain

Create Jira -> Create Branch and have them linked.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have a public API to do that.
