Hello

I'm new on deploying servers like this. Right now, I'm trying to setup a Bitbucket Server. It's working well on the office network, but I can't access it from my home network. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Any advice?

Thank you very much!

Hello David and welcome to the Community!

It sounds like you do have your Bitbucket server up and running without an issue, outside the inability to access it externally. To understand a bit more on how you have Bitbucket deployed and the network topology, could you give us a bit more insight?

  • Have you configured your firewall & router to communicate from Outbound -> Inbound to Bitbucket over the configured ports?
  • Have you externally registered your Bitbucket server DNS entry and is it resolvable?

This information will help us to understand where exactly you’re in the process of the deployment for external access.

Yes, it was a router's ports issue.

Thanks!!
