Cannot edit bitbucket-pipelines.yml via web

Michael Klassen
November 20, 2024

I have been working to refine our pipeline builds. I noticed this morning that I cannot edit the yml file.

I can open the file to view source, I can click the edit button, but the file never loads and always has zero characters. I cannot try to paste anything and commit as that line is broken.

This does not happen on other files in our repository, only bitbucket-pipelines.yml and has been confirmed in multiple respositories.

Hi Michael,

This was due to a bug, our apologies for the inconvenience.

The development team has deployed a fix for this in production, so you should no longer encounter any issues when editing the bitbucket-pipelines.yml file.

Kind regards,
Theodora
