Hi,
I'm trying to close my account on atlassian / bitbucket and finding it practically impossible.
Your account can't be deleted because:
This account is related to active accounts that are set to AUTO-RENEW.
This account is the primary billing contact for one or more products.
This account is a technical contact for one or more products.
To continue deleting this account the account owner needs to visit my.atlassian.com and designate a different user as a billing and technical contact.
When I go to http://admin.atlassian.com/billing it wants me to create an organization ?
When attempt either of the highlighted areas below it takes me back to my account I cant delete, or my empty Bitbucket page.
It feels like Im just going around in circles at this point.
Hi Johan,
I can see that you have deleted two Bitbucket Cloud workspaces from your side. As per what is described in our documentation Delete an account | Bitbucket , it might take up to 30 days for a resource to be completely deleted from our systems. This is why it is technically still tied to your account. Unfortunately - we are not able to expedite this process.
You will need to wait 30 days from the day of deletion before you may remove your Atlassian account. As far as I can see, this will be no earlier than 28th September 2023.
