Atlassian Access will control the authentication of your users. You will manage all of your users from within Atlassian Access. When a user is authenticating to a tool you have an applied policy for they will authenticate through Atlassian Access. This is how SSO and MFA are enforced within your Atlassian Cloud products. You are able to use external user directories with Atlassian Access to have users synced from another source.
