Can't view repository variables after moving a repository to another team

A repository was moved to a different team. No when trying to view repository variables in settings, nothing is visible. However if I try and add a variable that previously existed I get an error saying variable exists (but I cannot see it anywhere).

How can I view these existing variables so I can update and fix my build pipelines which are broken

Earlier this month we broke variable retrieval on repository transfer for a day or two. It sounds like you got caught in that window.

The underlying cause should be resolved now however. Can you look at your variables again and see if they are there and you can create them without issue again.
